A trial balance is a report that lists the balances of all general ledger accounts of a company at a certain point in time. The accounts reflected on a trial balance are related to all major accounting items, including assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, expenses, gains, and losses.

Report Filter
Report Filter | Description |

Period | Choose report period |
Show/Hide Columns | Toggle on/off to show/hide opening balance, transaction and closing balances |
View Options | Choose to hide accounts with zero closing balance and to expand or detract the accounts from displaying. You can also individually expand or detract the groups/accounts manually by clicking on a triangle in front of the group/ledger in the display area. Or you can expand or detract at once by simply activating or deactivating the Expand All toggle in the view options. |
